INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Pistons had their motors running in Indianapolis. Detroit topped the Indiana Pacers 121-117 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Sunday.
The Pistons nearly blew a 12-point lead in the fourth quarter before putting the game away. Saddiq Bey scored a game-high 31 points in the win. Frank Jackson added 19 for Detroit, which improves to 23-and-56.
The Pistons host the Dallas Mavericks Wednesday.
The Pistons are making some roster moves before the end of the season. The Athletic reports that the team is signing Carsen Edwards to a two-year deal.
Edwards averaged three-point-six points per game over two years and 68 games with the Boston Celtics. He has not played in the NBA this season.
Detroit also signed forward Braxton Key to a two-way deal and waived forward Chris Smith.
