COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A pair of local Rotary clubs are continuing to raise money to help war displaced citizens from Ukraine and other members of the community are pitching in.
A total of $34,000 has been raised so far.
The Rotary Clubs earlier decided to donate $10,000 from their February Rotary shows as part of the Coldwater MI USA for Ukraine fundraising campaign.
Half of the money came from the Noon Rotary Club with the other half came from the Sunrise Rotary Club.
Coldwater High School students raised $3,500 before Spring Break while the Branch County Association of Realtors recently donated $2,000.

Rotary President Tim Hart says refugees in Ukraine are in need of basic necessities.
The local Rotary Clubs are partnering with a Rotary Club in Zamosc, Poland which is located near the Ukraine border.
