BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson City Council approved the seventh and final payment to Concord Excavating and Grading on Monday night for the Ruggles/Compton Street Project.
The amount requested was over $225,000.
Bronson City Manager Brandon Mersman said the project finished in the black as costs came in just under $90,000 below the bid amount.
Engineer Mike Schwartz from Prein and Newhof was pleased with how the final work looked.
The work included the replacement of an aging water main along with work on sanitary and storm sewers on South Ruggles Street and a portion of Compton Street.
