COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce has started a Chamber Champions campaign in order to help out Chamber members who are struggling financially due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chamber Executive Director Lori Hunt sent the following letter to Chamber members…
“It’s been quite the year here at the Chamber. As we’ve navigated our way through covid we’ve seen many miracles happen as our community worked together. As you may know, many businesses in the community are still experiencing the aftermath of what covid did to Branch County.
This year we, unfortunately, have seen several small businesses close after fighting to recover. Other businesses are struggling financially and can’t keep their membership with the Chamber current. We thought now would be a great opportunity to watch the magic of Coldwater come together.
One thing I have learned about this community is we always rally together for those in need. Last year, when we did ‘Take out Tuesday,.. the city that saved its restaurants. ” We saw firsthand what
the community is capable of when we come together.
Let’s do it again… If your business is able to help keep another business connected…Would you consider becoming a Chamber Champion and give a one-time donation to help others who are struggling to pay for their dues this year? Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
It would be a blessing to them and provide them resources as they get back on their feet. It would also help the Chamber keep all our manpower so we too can continue to serve the businesses in our community.
We have so many great plans for the new year, but we really need your help! Let us know by April 30th so we can include you in the Chamber Champion area of our Annual report.”
