BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – There are no contested races in the Branch County townships that are scheduled to have elections in 2022.
In fact when the deadline passed for filing at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, there were no candidates for Gilead Township Clerk.
Corrected information supplied from the Branch County Clerks Office shows Jeff O’Dell is running unopposed for the Supervisors office in Ovid Township.
There are four other Republican candidates running unopposed for various township offices.
They are Robin Kehoe for Bethal Township trustee, Jody Lewis for Kinderhook Township treasurer, Hal McCurley for Kinderhook Township Trustee and Steve Norton for Ovid Township trustee.
