HASTINGS, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Girls tennis team traveled to Hastings on Thursday night for an Interstate 8 match and lost 6-2.
Winning matches for Coldwater was Ally Aker at number four singles by a score of 6-2 7-6.
Freshman Claire Hawver won her number three singles match 6-2 7-5 to improve to 3-0 on the year.
Winning JV matches for Coldwater were the duo of Luci Cunningham and Mallory Morick in a tiebreaker 7-6. Caley Stout and Alexis Wood teamed up to win 8-5. Lily Roscoe won a singles match 6-3.
Coldwater falls to 1-2 on the season and will play next on Monday at home against Marshall.
