Miner delivers a major hit as Quincy earns baseball doubleheader split with Grass Lake

GRASS LAKE, MI (WTVB) – Riley Miner’s three run double in the sixth inning broke open a close game and led the Quincy Orioles to a 7-1 win in the second game of Thursday’s non-conference doubleheader at Grass Lake.

Winning pitcher Mason Snyder went the distance scattering seven hits while striking out nine Warriors.

Hunter Tinervia had two hits for the Orioles.

Quincy was held to five hits in the first game and lost 11-2.

Karsen Maurer and Miner each had two hits to lead the Oriole offense.
