CONCORD, MI (WTVB) – Bronson swept a doubleheader at Concord, winning 11-0 in six innings and 16-0 in three.
Addison Harris was the winning pitcher in the opener, allowing 3 hits with 4 strikeouts, and she was 3-for-3 behind the plate with 2 RBIs, while Haylie Wilson hit a 2-run triple.
Harris and Mya Webb combined for a 1-hitter in the nightcap, and Wilson went 2-for-2 and drove in 3.
Head coach Becky Gray said after the game, “We came out flat tonight. We have to work on our intensity. The second game we picked up the intensity and played much better. I’m glad we were able to pick up two wins in the league.”
The Vikings improved to 8-1 overall, 4-0 in the Big 8.
