COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Renovation of the former Taylor’s Stationers building in downtown Coldwater is scheduled to take place over the next several months in anticipation of the Branch County Children’s Museum relocating there.
Economic Development Coordinator Audrey Tappenden told the Downtown Development Authority on Wednesday that the final architectural drawings for the building at 60 West Chicago have been turned in.
D.D.A. Board President Brad Rockey asked Tappenden if a painting schedule was set.
The City of Coldwater has advanced $350,000 to the D.D.A. for the renovation.
The Downtown Development Authority owns the building which has been empty for nearly six years.
