DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The University of Detroit Mercy has named Kate Achter as the new women’s basketball head coach.
Achter spent the last six seasons at the helm of Loyola Chicago and has also been on the coaching staff at Xavier and St. Bonaventure.
She is a 2008 graduate of Bowling Green and helped lead the Falcons to four straight MAC titles.
