TEKONSHA TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police troopers are investigating an attempted larceny of a catalytic converter on P Drive South in Tekonsha Township. Troopers say several subjects were seen trying to cut free the catalytic converter from a Dodge Durango as it was parked. The suspects could not be described or identified but the vehicle was seen leaving the scene at a high rate of speed. As the vehicle sped through a stop sign, a witness took a picture of the speeding vehicle. It is believed to be a 2002 or 2003 maroon Pontiac Bonneville, There may have been up to three suspects that were with this vehicle. This incident occurred back in April.
