COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The school year is winding down and it’s almost time to say goodbye to the Class of 2022.
Plans to honor the Coldwater High School seniors next Friday have been announced.
A Convocation Assembly should be done sometime around 10:45 a.m..
Seniors will start their Spirit Walk shortly afterwards by going through the CHS Spirit Tunnel.
From there, the seniors will leave the high school and be honored by Legg Middle School and Lakeland Elementary students.
The seniors will then board buses at Lakeland and head downtown for their Senior Swing out.
Once the U.S. 12 walk is completed, the buses will take the seniors to Jefferson and Max Larsen Elementary schools where they will be honored by students at those schools.
After visiting with Max Larsen students, the buses will drop off the seniors for their senior luncheon at the First Baptist Church.
Hopefully, the weather cooperates. The spirit walks will not be held outside if it rains.
Inclement weather last year forced a cancellation of the traditional Swing Out walk through downtown Coldwater as well as planned outdoor spirit walks at the other schools in the district.
