MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater’s varsity golf team finished tenth out of 13 teams on Friday at the Hillsdale Academy John Matthew Krutsch Memorial Golf Tournament which was held at the Medalist Golf Course north of Marshall.
Coldwater had a team score of 379. Waterford United won the tournament with a score of 322 followed by Marshall’s 328.
Coldwater was led by Jett Galloway who had an 82. Talan Eberts shot a 95, Kyle Sheppard carded a 100, Brady Arver had a 102 and Rayce Johnson rounded out Coldwater’s scoring with a 117.
In JV action, Coldwater traveled to the Binder Park Golf Course on Thursday and took second out of the three participating teams.
Lakeview won the event with a 183 followed by Coldwater at 204 and Harper Creek with a 206.
Coldwater was led by Keavyn Zabonick with a 48 followed by Blaike Kelley with a 51, Parkyr Jones shot a 52, Cooper Nelson had a 53, and James Byrne rounded out the scoring with a 69..
Coldwater’s JV’s played in a Jamboree on Friday and came in fourth with a 218. Mattawan won the event with a 181.
Coldwater was led by Blaike Kelley with a 49, Koletin Aldinger shot a 54, Parkyr Jones carded a 55, Keavyn Zabonick had a 60, Sam Forrister had a 61, Cooper Nelson shot a 67 and James Byrne rounded out the scoring with a 69.
