Cardinal track teams defeat Jackson Northwest, lose to Parma Western

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater track teams swept Jackson Northwest but were beaten by Parma Western on Monday night at Cardinal Field.

The Coldwater boys defeated the Mounties 117 ½ to 39 ½ but lost to Parma 105-58.

Coldwater winners were Gage Rodgers in the 100, Steven Covell in the 400 and the high jump, John Aerts in the 3200, Zach Coffing in the shot put and Hunter Munson in the pole vault and the long jump.

The Coldwater girls defeated Northwest 113-34 but lost to Parma 107-55. Coldwater winners were Lainey Yearling in the 1600, Elli Foley in the shot put and discus, Avery Boyce in the pole vault and Sarah Forrister in the long jump.
