BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Despite the Saturday morning storms, the Bronson Vikings girls softball team managed to hold their Polish Classic.
The Vikings defeated Marshall 6-5 and lost to Watervliet 4-2.
Addison Harris was the winning pitcher against Marshall. Jaydn Cary had two doubles and two RBI’s. Brealyn Lasky also had two RBI’s.
Lasky also had three hits against Watervliet.
Bronson’s record is now 21-11.
The Saturday morning storms caused the cancellations of many scheduled Branch County high school sports events.
Among the baseball cancellations were the Coldwater games at Grandville and the Bronson Polish Classic.
Also called off were Coldwater’s softball games with Grand Ledge and Quincy’s softball games at Centreville.
