QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Orioles wrapped up another Big 8 Conference girls track championship on Wednesday night as they finished first in the conference meet which the Orioles hosted.
Union City was third in the girls meet while Bronson was sixth.
Nikkia Cronk of Quincy won two gold medals as she won the 100 and the high jump.
Nevada Gillons of Union City also struck gold twice as she took first place in both the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles.
Sidney Swick of Bronson won the 1600 while Skylar Fraley of Union City was the winner in the 3200.
The Orioles got two wins in the field events as Raigan Horsfall won the shot put and Sophia Snellenberger was the discus winner.
Concord won the boys meet. Union City was fourth, Quincy finished fifth and Bronson was seventh.
Union City had four first place finishes.
Logan Cole won a pair of gold medals with victories in the shot put and discus.
Nathaniel Maurer captured the 300 hurdles while Alex Hull won the pole vault.
