COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency wants to collect data on their response efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Health Officer Rebecca Burns said in her report to the Board of Health on Thursday that the survey for their team members has been distributed and responses are being collected.
Burns says they are also working on a survey for volunteers, key leaders and partner agencies. All of the feedback will be compiled and a report will be prepared by the Agency’s Emergency Preparedness Coordinator.
Burns says they want to identify areas for improvement as well those things that went well in order to improve planning for future response activities.
She also reported that Michigan continues to be in a “Recovery Phase”. While cases have gone up as predicted by modeling, there has not been a corresponding increase in hospitalizations.
While that’s good news, Burns says they continue to be cautious and they want residents to make a COVID-19 plan involving four areas of preparedness such as keeping a supply of well-fitting masks and over the counter COVID-19 tests.
