QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – With the search for a new police chief underway, the Quincy Village Council decided on Tuesday night to offer a starting salary of $50,000 to whoever is chosen for the position.
That figure would be open to negotiations depending on the candidate’s qualifications.
Village Manager Brittany Butler said the Branch County Sheriff’s Department has offered a helping hand while the Village Police Department works shorthanded.
She was seeking the Council’s input on a salary for the next Police Chief.
