Fink backed legislation proposes the outlawing of illegal immigrant sanctuary cities

LANSING, MI (WTVB) – Republican State Representative Andrew Fink has introduced legislation in the Michigan House that would outlaw sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants in Michigan.

The proposed legislation would prohibit all local units of government from preventing law enforcement from cooperating with federal officials concerning illegal immigrants.

The legislation is pending in the House Local Government Committee.
