COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Community Schools Board of Education Monday night approved the renewal of an agreement to keep a School Resource Officer at Coldwater High School.
Coldwater police officer Robin Swartz will continue as the School Resource Officer.
To fund the program, Coldwater Community Schools pays the city to cover 75 percent of the costs, with grant funds covering much of the school’s portion.
As the School Resource Officer, Swartz is on duty during the regularly scheduled school day. She may also be assigned to home high school football and basketball games as well as to other events.
The original agreement between the City of Coldwater and Coldwater Community Schools was approved in June of 2020.
