COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A man who was being sought by authorities in Branch and St. Joseph Counties was apprehended at around noon on Thursday.
Warrants were issued for 27–year-old Dylan Brand of Sturgis after he did not appear for a Branch County Circuit Court hearing on Monday. A $100,000 cash bond he posted in March was revoked.
Branch County Prosecutors say local law enforcement departments received tips regarding the potential whereabouts of Brand before he was located at a home in St. Joseph County on Thursday morning.
He was taken into custody by the Michigan State Police and lodged at the St. Joseph County Jail.
Brand has been charged with allegedly robbing a Bronson area woman at gunpoint in her home last October.
He also had a warrant for his arrest out of St. Joseph County for a pursuit which ended with a crash. A firearm was seized in that incident.
