COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It’s been a dry couple of weeks in Branch County and southwest Michigan, and depending on your location, yesterday afternoon’s rain may not have amounted to much.
The MSU Weather Station at the Bloom Dairy Farm outside of Coldwater registered 0.34 inches of rain yesterday, while almost 0.9 inches were reported in Algansee Township.
0.34 inches were also recorded at Sturgis, with 0.28 inches at Hillsdale, 0.26 inches at Angola, and 0.12 inches at Battle Creek, while just over an inch of rain was recorded in Litchfield.
The next chance of rain is forecast for Monday night, especially overnight, which shouldn’t put a damper on fireworks shows scheduled for the 4th of July.
