DELTON, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Police say a fire that’s believed to have been started by burning candles after a Barry County home lost power has claimed the life of a 16-year-old female.
The Barry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating fire at 10575 Kingsbury Rd near Delton in Barry Township that was reported at 4:18 a.m. Tuesday. They says the teen was found deceased in the basement.
The fire remains under investigation.
