COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A 64 page multi-year implementation plan for senior services in Branch and St. Joseph Counties was accepted by the Branch County Board of Commissioners during their work session on Tuesday.
Laura Sutter is the director of the Region III-C Branch-St. Joseph Area Agency on Aging.
She said the document serves as a planning document for the next three fiscal years.
Sutter said the data collected showed an increase in Branch County’s population which includes older adults.
A Community Needs Assessment was also conducted.
Sutter added they are still trying to press forward with getting an adult day program in Branch County which has not been in operation since 2014.
The Area Agency on Aging has been offering services for Branch County senior citizens since 1996.
