COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch Area Careers Center has been given a $25,000 donation by Maxine Mock in memory of her brother Earl Mock.
Mock was a lifelong farmer in St. Joseph and Branch Counties.
He was also a Korean War Veteran and was involved in 4-H while raising cattle.
Maxine Mock stated, “Earl knew that the Branch Area Careers Center gave kids the opportunity to learn about farming and agriculture.”
The intended use of the donation is for the development of a student scholarship in the Environmental and Agricultural Sciences Program, which aligns with Maxine Mock’s wishes.
