BETHEL TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan State Police say they are investigating a report of shots being fired on a property in Bethel Township on Tuesday night.
They say Troopers were dispatched at about 9:45 p.m. to the area of Central Road near Butcher Road.
Once at the scene, it was determined a group of males who were training raccoon hunting dogs were confronted by an unknown man in the woods on the property.
They advised Troopers this unknown man began firing a shotgun into the air and then fled the scene on a side by side.
