HILLSDALE COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The identity of a man who was killed Tuesday morning after touching a live downed power line in Hillsdale County has been released.
The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Derreck Michael Dobbs of Jonesville.
He was electrocuted while an unidentified 25-year-old Jonesville woman was found injured by the Michigan State Police in the 2000 block of Chicago Road at about 8:00 a.m. Tuesday morning
The woman was air lifted to an unnamed hospital.
Troopers from the State Police post in Jackson continue to investigate the incident.
