DEARBORN, MI (WTVB) – For the first time since April, the average gas price in Michigan is under $4 a gallon.
AAA Michigan says prices are down nine cents in the past week to $3.95 a gallon, a drop of 77 cents in the past month but still 69 cents more than last year.
Traverse City has the highest prices in the state at $4.27, and Flint’s $3.82 is the lowest price. A 15 gallon fill up costs an average of $59.
According to GasBuddy.com, as of Sunday night, the price of gas in Coldwater and Bronson averaged $3.99 a gallon, while it was $3.89 in Quincy and $3.79 in several locations in Fremont, Indiana.
