COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council approved a clarification Monday night on the banquet facility permit for Jim’s Place Billiards at Four South Monroe.
City Manager Keith Baker says the Michigan Liquor Control Commission required that the permit be utilized for the second floor only.
The city staff requested the Council amend the positive recommendation made in May for Jim’s Place as the state will not approve the requested license until it receives the amended resolution.
Jim’s Place is owned by James Brauker and will be located in the former Wilber’s Furniture Store. Work continues on the interior. An opening date has not been announced.
And we all know how bad Coldwater needs another liquor license ………
