Mark Alan Bauder, Jr., 33, of Burlington, passed away at home on Friday, August 19, 2022 after a lifelong health battle to live every single day. Some say he was a soldier, some say he was a hero. Anyone who met him would say he was stronger than most.

Mark was born on July 27, 1989 to Mark and Candis (Smith) Bauder in Kalamazoo. He graduated from Union City High School with the Class of 2009. Mark, or “Marky” as we all knew him, loved being at home spending time with family and friends. You could find him enjoying a campfire, playing video games, or even just sitting outside enjoying the country setting.
Marky’s dog Georgia held a special place in his heart and was such a support to him. She was there with him every day, and the comfort she gave him was immeasurable, even on his hardest days.
Marky will forever be missed by his parents; Mark and Candy Bauder of Burlington, MI. He is also survived by two brothers; Randy (Sara) Martin of Burlington, MI, and Dean Bauder of Litchfield, MI. One niece and one nephew; Logan and Mara Bailey, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Marky is preceded in death by a sister, Danielle, grandparents; Kenneth and Judy Smith, and Ivan and Dorothy Bauder.
Memorial contributions may directed to Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation to assist with final expenses.
