COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Apple Fest will have a different layout when this year’s annual event is held in downtown Coldwater.
Economic Development Coordinator Audrey Tappenden told the Downtown Development Authority on Wednesday that no vendors will be set up on the north side of U.S. 12.
Instead, vendors will be south of 12 as well as on South Hanchett, South Monroe and in the Tibbits Plaza parking lot as part of a test lay out.
Mariah Welke from the City of Coldwater’s Recreation Department, which is putting on Apple Fest, says this lay out will provide more room.
Tappenden says surveys will be conducted after Apple Fest to see how the public and vendors feel about this layout.
The sign up deadline for vendors is next Wednesday, September 7.
Apple Fest will be held on Saturday, September 17 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m..
