COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker has announced that the renovated Four Corners Parks will be re-dedicated on Saturday, September 17 during Apple Fest.
The re-dedication ceremony which will include a short program and ribbing cutting will start at 10:00 a.m..
Renovating the Four Corners Park had been discussed for almost a decade before the work took place.
The last renovation took place in the early 1970’s as part of urban renewal.
The Coldwater City Council approved a bid of nearly $479,000 in March of 2021 from Parrish Excavating of Quincy for the work.
The work included the installation of new brick and concrete surfaces and a masonry Veterans Memorial Wall.
There were also electrical service, lighting, water, landscaping and stormwater improvements.
