James Bernard Oxenrider, 57, of Bronson, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 surrounded by his loving family at his home.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 12:00 p.m.at the Church of Christ in Bronson with Pastor Mike Roberts officiating. Interment will follow the service at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bronson.
The family will receive guests for visitation Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 1:00-7:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Bronson and again Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
He was born December 7, 1964 to Bernard and Charlotte (Cross) Oxenrider in Coldwater, MI. On March 24, 2000 James married Deborah A. Roberts and she survives.
Jim was an outdoorsman that found his joy in fishing, animals, and motorcycles. He also liked to catch a good western movie from time to time, but his greatest passion of all was his family. James was a loving husband, devoted brother, cherished uncle, and friend to many that will be dearly missed.
In addition to his wife Deborah, James leaves behind his sisters Patsy (John) Siler of Bronson, Joann Gilbert of Three Rivers, Jean (Mike) Minger of Portage; his many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and his faithful service dog Olivia.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Church of Christ in Bronson.
