COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities Board of Directors Wednesday night approved authorizing Utility Director Paul Jakubczak to enter into a Power Purchase Agreement with the Michigan South Central Power Agency for up to 26.4 megawatts of capacity from the Hart Solar Project.
Jakubczak said the M.S.C.P.A. has finalized the agreements with Hart Solar Partners, LLC and now requires final approval by resolution of all participating members.
The resolution and agreement will now be forwarded to the City Council for final authorization.
The Hart Solar Project is a proposed solar electric generating facility used to generate electricity which utilizes renewable solar power from modules located in Oceana County.
