BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – McDonald’s announced on Wednesday that Michael and Jessica Maynard have purchased and are now running restaurants in Battle Creek at 6079 B Drive North and in Bronson at 708 East Chicago Street.
The two locations were previously owned by Michael’s parents, Jim and Laura Maynard.
Michael and Jessica Maynard also own the McDonald’s in Tekonsha while Jim and Laura Maynard continue to own and operate locations in Albion, Battle Creek, Centreville, Coldwater, Hillsdale,
Jonesville, Marshall, Quincy, and White Pigeon.
The company says in total, the Maynard family employs 700 people across Southwest Michigan.
Michael Maynard says, “These are communities that we love and feel like we can raise our family in and be proud of. When Jessica and I named our business, we wanted ‘Maynard Family McDonald’s. McDonald’s has always been a family restaurant, a place to have special memories. And that’s what we want. Not only for our kids, but for our employees, their children, and generations to come.”
The Maynard family has been in Southwest Michigan operating McDonald’s restaurants since 2001.
