The Branch County 4-H Leaders’ Council hosted it’s yearly 4-H Recognition Night was held Tuesday night in Pierce Hall at the Branch County Fairgrounds.
4-H Youth, 4-H leaders and parents attended the catered meal and awards program with 145 people were in attendance. The awards program started with acknowledging the 4-H youth who are active members of the Leaders’ Council, youth who competed in State 4-H events like the 4-H State Shoot, State 4-H Horse Show and State 4-H Dairy Days.
The bulk of the awards portion of the evening were awarding the youth who completed the Awards Process. The Leaders’ Council also celebrated 4-H Leaders for their 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th, etc. years with certificates and leader pins.
The final award given by the Branch County 4-H Leaders’ Council was the Meritorious 4-H Award with the individual award going to Randy Houtz, and the business award going to Chris and Kala Pierucki with Pierucki Baling.
