OTSEGO, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater, Bronson and Quincy cross country teams competed at the Otsego Bulldog Invitational on Saturday. The meet attracted runners from 66 schools and was divided into four classes.
In the Division Two meets, the Coldwater boys were 27th while the girls were 25th. Haroon Omar was the top finisher for Coldwater in the boys meet as he was 75th in a time of 17:30.2. Lainey Yearling finished 52nd for the Coldwater girls in a time of 20:47.28.
The Bronson boys were third in Division Three while the girls were fourth. Aden Hathaway of Bronson was sixth in the boys race with a time of 17:48.47. Ashton Wells ran eighth. Bronson’s Ava Hathaway was third with a time of 20:01.45 while her teammate Ashlynn Harris was fourth.
Quincy did not enough runners for a team score in the Division Three boys meet while the Quincy girls finished seventh. Two Quincy runners competed in the boys race and both turned in season best times. Caden Troxtle was 47th with a time of 20:38 while Nathan Richer was 68th. Sadie Miller was 23rd in the girls meet with a time of 23:27.29 while Elizabeth Craig was 39th.
