COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The season ended for the Coldwater Girls Golf team on Thursday as they finished eighth in the M.H.S.A.A. Division Two Regional meet they hosted at the Coldwater Golf Club.
Coldwater had their best score of the season with a 435.
Hailey Price fired a 99 to pace the Cardinals.
Violet Cunkle fired a 108, Karis Tom carded a 113, and lilyanah roscoe had a 115.
In what turned out to be a battle between four of the top ten teams in the State this year, DeWitt won the meet with a 359. Dexter was second with a 364. Mason was third at 368.
Mason and Haslett tied at 368 but Mason took the fifth person tie breaking score to advance to the M.H.S.A.A. Finals.
Dexter’s Avery Manning shot a 74 to earn medalist honors.
Sydney Dousman of Haslett, Natalie Kulka of Jackson and Katelyn Burkett from Fenton all qualified as Individuals to move on to the State Championship as well.
DeWitt’s Courtney Novak recorded an ace on the par three fourth hole.
