Harold Lee Moss, 80, of Bronson passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at home after a long battle with COPD.
A graveside service will be held Monday, October 10, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Matteson Cemetery in Bronson, MI.
The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
Harold was born on May 20, 1942 to Albert “Buggs” and Irene (Kinter) Moss in Coldwater. He graduated from Bronson High School in 1960. February 11, 1961 he married Wynona Plettner and she survives.
Harold had led a career in farming but ultimately retired as a truck driver from Allied Auto where he transported cars for the commercial carrier. He had been a member of the Teamsters Union and took pride in his time as a farmer.
Harold enjoyed watching auto racing and going to car and antique tractor shows; but above all, he loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and cheering them on at their sporting events.
In addition to his wife Wynona of 61 years, he is survived by his daughter Rhonda (Dave) O’Rourke of Angola, his son Todd (Michelle) Moss of Fremont; his brother Carl (Julie) Moss of Galesburg, MI; his grandchildren Madison O’Rourke, Brayleigh and Brayton Moss and his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson Devin James O’Rourke, his in laws and his special dog Red.
Memorial donations are suggested to the American Lung Association or the Humane Society of Branch County.
