COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Community Foundation announced the recipients of the 2022 Community Good Grant Cycle on Monday.
A total of $23,500 was granted out to eight different organizations and programs in Branch County and Colon.
Funding for this year’s recipients was made possible by the Community Foundation’s Forever Fund, the Irv and Kathy Harris Memorial Fund, the Homelessness Prevention Fund and the Colon Foundation Fund.
Among those receiving full funding are Colon Community Fire and Rescue for a Thermal Imager, the Quincy United Methodist Church for their Blessing Box, Jacob’s Well Ministry for homelessness gap funding and South Michigan Food Bank for food purchase and distribution in Branch County.
Those receiving partial funding for their projects and programs include the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, the Tibbits Opera Foundation and Arts Council, Tommy’s House and the Coach Eby Youth and Family Center.

Grant applications for the Community Good Grant Cycle are accepted each year during the month of August.
