BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Orioles used a big second half on Friday night to defeat Branch County rival Bronson 30-20 in the Vikings Homecoming game.
Bronson jumped out to a 14-6 halftime advantage on a 49 yard touchdown by Boston Bucklin and a 71 yard pass from Kam Brackett to Bucklin.
Quincy scored on a 15 yard TD by Tre’Von Bodley.
A pair of third period TD’s by Bodley, which gave him three scores for the night, put Quincy ahead 18-14.
Quincy added to their lead with a 10 yard touchdown by Sam Sawyer and a 27 yard TD pass from Brennen Allman to Ryder Schmachtenberger.
The Vikings ended the scoring on an 86 yard TD pass from Seth Withington to Drew Norton.
Both teams are 2-6 for the season. Quincy finished 2-4 in the Big 8. Bronson went 1-5 in the conference.
