Nancy Lou Swallow, 89, of Quincy died at her home on October 15, 2022 while under the care of ProMedica Hospice.
Funeral services for Nancy Lou Swallow will be held Wednesday October 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy with Pastor Shane Looper officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 18 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Nancy was born on January 17, 1933 in Allen, Michigan to Harold and Marguerite (Brakefield) Crapo.
She was a 1951 graduate of Quincy High School where she met and married the father of her children, William Harrison Swallow, who preceded her in death in 2010. Nancy spent most of her work career at the Coldwater Regional Center as a Resident Care Aide.
She enjoyed playing bingo, reading, garage sales and travelling with her family. Mostly, Nancy, could be found seated at her dining room table surrounded by her children, their spouses and her grand and great grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her children Cindy (Ray) Conley of Quincy, Susan (Brent) Clock of Coldwater, Diane Swallow of Quincy, Eileen (Derek) Schroeder of Clearwater, Florida, Bill (Barb) Swallow of Quincy and her son-in-law Glenn Snapp also of Quincy. Grandchildren Ryan (Joli) Conley of Winter Haven, Florida, Sarah (Justin) Asher of Bronson, Michigan, Stacy (Eric) Thompson of Clearwater, Florida, Bryce (Alisha Morris) McCowan of Allen, Michigan, Brandon (Casey) Schroeder of Papillion, Nebraska, Audi (Caleb) Nickerson of Quincy, Nick (Lauren) Swallow of Lake Orion, Michigan, Kathryn (Zach) Kienhau of Seward, Alaska, Gabriel Snapp and Rachel Snapp both of Quincy and sixteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Arlene Hurley of Allen, Michigan and her much loved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughters Amy Snapp and Kathy Ann Swallow, her great-granddaughter Christina Rose Kienhau and siblings Merton Crapo, Noreen Ganger, Duane Crapo and Norma Eileen Crapo.
