THREE RIVERS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Three Rivers Police arrested a man who they say robbed a business with a weapon, and then fled on a bicycle.
It happened around 11:10 a.m. Friday morning, October 14, at a business on Michigan Avenue between Grant and Lincoln Avenues.
Authorities say the suspect, appearing to be in his late teens or early twenties, made off with an unknown amount of currency, and then fled the scene on a bicycle.
Thanks to an observant citizen who passed along the direction the suspect went to dispatch, police were able to serve a warrant at a Michigan Avenue home near South Main Street where they found evidence of the crime.
The suspect was taken into custody Friday night without incident.
