ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – An Indianapolis man was arrested by Indiana State Troopers late Saturday night on I-69 near Angola as a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle led to multiple charges related to drug and illegal weapons possession.
The stop took place after a Trooper saw a 2019 Jeep passenger vehicle traveling south on I-69 at 100 mph.
State Police say the Trooper developed probable cause to conduct a search of the vehicle and later discovered a loaded handgun along with numerous items of suspected Meth, Marijuana, Marijuana edible products, and related drug paraphernalia.
45-year-old Anthony Liner was taken to the Steuben County Jail where he was booked on five charges.
