Ralph Edward Schafer Jr., 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, in Coldwater, MI.
Cremation has taken place and a private burial will held at Bronson Cemetery in Bronson.
The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City.
Ralph was born on February 19, 1941 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Ralph and Alice (Kibiloski) Schafer. He graduated from Bronson High School with the Class of 1959. On June 17, 1972, he married Carol Fair at the First Congregational Church in Bronson. For several years he owned and operated Ralph Schafer Distributing.
Surviving are his wife, Carol Schafer of Coldwater; children: Lesley Schafer, Kelly Simmons and Kathleen Schafer- Raymond all of Coldwater, and Scott Schafer of Jackson; grandchildren, Elizabeth Simmons and Kyle (Lexie) Raymond; great grandchild, Brooks; and brother, James Schafer of Bronson.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents.
