BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – It’s expected to get very windy on Saturday.
Branch County is included in a Wind Advisory that has been issued by the National Weather Service for portions of southwest Michigan, northern Indiana and northwest Ohio which is in effect from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Forecasters say south winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph can be expected with a few isolated gusts of up to 60 mph possible on Saturday afternoon.
The gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle.
