BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – A number of local candidates on the Branch County ballot are assured of being elected on Tuesday.
Kristin Lyon-Welch and Bob Steel are the only candidates for a pair of six year seats on the Coldwater Community School Board of Education.
Shawnna Craig and Jordan Oiler are the only candidates for the two seats that have six year terms on the Board of Education for Quincy Community School.
It’s the same situation in the Union City Community School District as Paul Arlt and David Mathis are running for a pair of six year terms on the District’s Board of Education.
Casey Bassage, Andrew Craig, Karen Hargreave and Wendy Salyer are the candidates for the four seats up for election on the Quincy Town Council. All of the seats have a four year term.
The only candidates appearing on the ballot for township offices are Batavia Township Treasurer Ashley Gruner, Bethel Township Trustee Robin Kehoe, Gilead Township Clerk Branden Billman, Kinderhook Township Treasurer Jody Ann Lewis and Trustee Hal McCurley along with Ovid Township Supervisor Jeff O’Dell and Trustee Steve Norton.
