MARSHALL, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Black ice may have led to a multi-vehicle crash on Verona Road west of Marshall on Wednesday morning.
Michigan State Police say about a half dozen vehicles were involved in the crashes near G Drive North.
First reports indicate there were several vehicle rollovers.
No ambulances were sent to the scene so it was initially thought there were no serious injuries after the series of crashes were reported at around 6:30 a.m..
A pair of vans were brought in to help warm up the persons who were involved in the crashes.
Four Michigan State Police units were at the scene and the State Police will be investigating the crashes
