UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The annual Union City Santa Parade will be held next Saturday night, November 26 at 7:00 p.m..
The parade is sponsored each year by the Union City Chamber of Commerce.
It came back last year after being cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Parade participants may begin lining up at 6:00 p.m. at Robbins Auto for vehicles, floats, tractors, horse drawn entries or other wheeled entries.
Those walking in the parade must join in from the new Union City Senior Center and should be in place by 7:00 p.m..
The parade will continue through downtown Union City and end at High Street.
Following the parade, Southern Michigan Bank & Trust will host Santa Claus inside the bank.
Children can get their picture taken with Santa and the snapshot will be posted on a bulletin board at the bank lobby for pick up at the end of the following week.
Those watching the parade are asked not to park downtown after 6:00 p.m.. Traffic cones will be placed downtown and citizens are asked to please respect these boundaries.
