COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Planning Commission approved a request from Craft Leaf, LLC, on Monday night for a Special Land Use Permit so that they can operate a Adult Use Recreational Marijuana Grow Class C Establishment at 211 West Garfield Road.
City Planner Dean Walrack says the owners are interested in further maximizing the capacity of their building and site.
Applicant Salah Allaw said they have no plans to expand the building.
Walrack said in his report the applicant is installing a Class C Grow operation in this site and has completed all necessary local steps for awarding of the final license for that use.
They are also in the process of planning for the installation of the necessary features to operate the previously approved Retail and Processor uses.
Walrack added the applicant will need to provide updated odor management plan and will be required to submit additional electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building plans if and when applying for the respective permits.
Their final floor plans will also need to be approved by local and State fire marshals.
